Early September 2020 - Forest fires are burning all across the west coast. The conditions are ripe for rapid spread and the fires aren't holding back. Smoke and heavy winds have colored the skies with dark orange and ashy hues. Power outages both from wind damage and shutdown to prevent electrical fires have limited resources. Mandatory evacuations are in place for many. Forest animals are in need of refuge too. Consider sharing your space with another being in need. Perhaps a room or a bucket of water on the porch for a thirsty critter. Share your heart.
